These Girls are VERY Special.
Long stay girls
All rescues are under increasing demand to take in urgent cases of dogs at risk of being put to sleep. Sometimes strays are in very unsafe environments, they have not been assessed and are unable to go straight into a home environment. They need a rescue to take them in, get to know them, help them work through any issues and find them the best matched home.
We often see comments on these asking to rehome them direct and feeling it unfair they can’t go straight to homes.
These dogs may have yet unknown health or behavioural issues which could mean this would be setting them up to fail and causing heartbreak.
Along with the other breed rescues we are unable to save these dogs unless we have a space. Which is where we need your help .
We have two beautiful long stay girls looking for their special adopters. We know them inside out and can tell you all of their traits.
They all have plenty of good points and are loved by all of us at RIN but due to trauma in their past require experienced homes with understanding .
Cassie is 7 this september she is currently in foster with two other rotties and is attending regular training classes , she is a loving and loyal girl who will happily be around people but prefers a hands off approach from strangers .
Willow is 4 years old and almost perfect (well we think so ) she could live with a male rottie or similar size , - no small dogs , she. is completely house trained, travels well, loves food and toys (especially balls) Willow never forgets a friend and is a firm favourite with all our volunteers, you just need to get to know her with sausages and tennis balls.
These two dogs are with RIN in Essex but there are Rottweiler rescues all over the country that have dogs waiting for the right home that are fully assessed. By giving a home to these you free up a space for us rescues to take the next urgent case .
We know these girls will not be suitable for everyone , they cannot be rehomed around children and will need experienced owners, but they are so deserving of a happy loving home.
